WILD & ORGANIC’S SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT POLIСY
(updated October 22, 2025)
These requirements apply to websites, blogs, social media posts, videos, photographs, and other materials created, contributed, distributed, commented on, or modified by you (e.g., Instagram photos, Facebook posts, tweets, and retweets) (“Content”).
1. Any Content you create about Wild & Organic and its products, and/or any herbs and herbal formulations used in connection therewith must reflect your honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences regarding the same. Any claims relating to a product (even subtle ones) whether direct or indirect, express, or implied, must be supported by reliable scientific evidence that has been sufficiently vetted by way of peer review-based clinical studies and published scientific support in reputable journals and/or publications.
a. Do not make false, deceptive, or misleading claims about a product or a competing product (e.g., if you thought the Wild & Organic product was terrible, do not say it is terrific, and if you thought a competing product was terrific, do not say it’s terrible);
b. Do not hold yourself out as an expert unless you really are one;
c. Do not make statements about a product when you are not a bona fide user of that product (i.e., you cannot talk about your experience with a Wild & Organic product if you have not tried it);
d. You must discontinue publication or make additional disclosures if a communication or claim ceases to be truthful; and
e. You must be especially cautious when making superlative, conclusory or comparative statements about products (e.g., “best” or “better than”).
2. Clearly and conspicuously disclose material connections in product or service endorsements.
a. Disclosures should always be made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (including the related FAQs) and all other applicable regulations. For any social media post and/or video designed to promote Wild & Organic or any of its products, you must adequately and clearly and conspicuously disclose that such posts are sponsored advertisements.
b. In order to be “clear and conspicuous,” disclosures must:
i. be located at the beginning, on top of or next to any related communication;
1. For video content, your disclosure must appear in the video, and it must show up for long enough to be noticed, read, and understood. For long videos, the disclosure may need to be repeated.
2. For tweets, the disclosure should not appear at the end of the tweet, where it could be cut off if retweeted.
ii. be understandable for the intended audience;
1. Your audience should readily understand that you are not posting about or reviewing Wild & Organic’s products independently.
iii. be clearly visible or audible to anyone who visits the applicable website, platform or service and reads, sees, or hears the post or message, meaning:
1. disclosures must be prominently presented and easy to understand, in a font, size and format that is easy to see, or a volume and speed that is easy to hear;
2. your followers, readers or audience must not have to scroll or search or click through other pages to find the disclosure;
3. for compressed communications, you should describe the relationship, either in the text of the communication or by prominently placing disclosures such as #ad, #paid, #[Brand]Partner, #igotafree[product]from@Wild & Organic, #iblog4@Wild & Organic, #iwork4@Wild & Organic, #Wild & Organiclife, #Ad or #sponsored within the communication;
4. disclosures may need to be repeated throughout your communication on a particular medium, for example, in every individual post, tweet and comment or several times in a video (i.e., use “Thanks [Brand] for gifting me [details of product/gift]” in your communication and add #igotafree[product]from@[Brand]); and
5. generally, the disclosure must appear on the face of the communication and not in a hyperlink.
iv. include the name of the specific Wild & Organic’s brand, service, or product, or any other person or company with an interest in your communication.
In general, if you cannot include a disclosure in your posting (i.e., the words do not fit or there are other technical limitations), please do not use that platform to talk about Wild & Organic and its products, and/or any herbs and herbal formulations used in connection therewith. However, you may simply “like” or “follow” Wild & Organic without posting any disclosure.
3. Content must be your own original work, created solely by you, and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity.
4. Content must not be lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, defamatory, or obscene, or otherwise contain inappropriate content or objectionable material, as determined in Wild & Organic’s sole discretion. Such Content may not be posted or made publicly available and Wild & Organic may remove such Content, if applicable, or require that you remove such Content.
5. Content must not contain any personally identifiable information (e.g., license plate numbers, e-mail addresses, or street addresses) or the name or likeness (i.e., photo, drawing or other identifiable image) of any person other than yourself that has not explicitly consented to your using such information in the Content (especially celebrities and minors). Should you include personally identifiable information about yourself in the Content, you acknowledge and agree that such information will be disclosed publicly and that you are solely responsible for any consequences thereof.
6. Content must not misrepresent, or contain disparaging remarks about any people, companies, or products.
7. Content must not violate any law.
